Overview
For the Lights Out Stratford Festival, themed "Reimagined," our team created Veins of Stratford, an interactive installation that explores Stratford’s historic wetlands and rivers while examining the impact of human development.
The installation features projected visuals of abstract, flowing lines that mimic the movement of water and wind, symbolizing the transformation and resilience of natural ecosystems. As visitors move through the space, their shadows disrupt the visuals, causing them to ripple, shift, and expand, illustrating the delicate interplay between human presence and nature.
By immersing participants in a dynamic, responsive environment, Veins of Stratford encourages reflection on the fragility of wetlands and the importance of sustainable coexistence. The installation aligns with the festival’s "Reimagined" theme by prompting viewers to reconsider how human intervention shapes—and can potentially restore—natural landscapes.

My Role
As a Media & Marketing Lead for Veins of Stratford, I was responsible for crafting the project’s visual identity and promotional strategy to engage festival attendees and communicate the installation’s themes effectively.
-
Media Creation: Designed promotional materials, including posters, social media graphics, and digital assets, to generate interest in the installation.
-
Marketing Strategy: Developed a marketing plan to align with the Lights Out Stratford Festival theme, ensuring effective outreach and audience engagement.
-
Content Production: Captured and edited photos and videos of the installation for documentation and post-event promotion.
-
Audience Engagement: Managed social media posts and festival outreach, creating compelling content to attract visitors and spark discussions about the installation’s message.
Through these efforts, I helped shape Veins of Stratford into a visually compelling and widely recognized experience that encouraged attendees to reflect on Stratford’s wetlands and the impact of human development.
